so daniel, I take it then you've studied Irish? How far did you get? Are you still studying it? Pray tell all. I've got a few books on teach yourself Irish for years that I've never got around to having more than a bit of a squiz.

you could definitely do it by making your own cards. Off the top of my head I'm not sure if you can do it another way or not. I would think there probably is another way.

ok, just worked out the answer to my own question. ...the dialogue and audio review are both at the radio quality. I guess that's fine as they're both just being used as review tools [not something you're trying to catch the first time around]

ps that's interesting come to think of it. To me it tends to imply that the cd quality was thought to be worth paying for above a free radio quality podcast.

good question. This has been discussed before and I'm not too sure of the nitty gritty ..changye is the expert particularly in this department. I think the upshot is there is no clear guideline as to when to use 条 and when to use 只, but I think they tend to use 条 for larger dogs.

Welcome to CPod mate. I just had a try for you [ sometimes you can type the tones as a number after each syllable...like wo3men or actually include the neutral tone as a 5 so write wo3men5, or you could use the convert to tone marks from a posting box like this and copy and paste across] but it looks like it doesn't accept pinyin in the answers...only hanzi. If you go to the help section of the site there should be a section there about how to get up and running with writing in hanzi. I'd suggest getting google pinyin input. Good luck.

thanks dk. yeah, those clips have the 儿化 in there...I think I would find the Beijing accent harder to follow than in Shanghai. I look forward to the Beijinghua series.
