I think there are likely also cases where MPS is the wrong diagnosis. Fellow laowai behaving badly giving laowai a bad name with the locals may lead to misinterpreted glares,etc.

good question mate. I wondered about this too and would also like to know the answer. I guess it's possible that it could just be referring to applying for visa's that may be required for the destination country, but it doesn't exactly sound like that. Anyone know the answer?
