February 11, 2011 at 11:05 PMgood question and answer. I'm presuming this goes for other countries of origin as well. So what's the situation then if you go to China relatively broke, work there a few years and save up....there's no way to then get that money back to your country of origin? Any thoughts on this policy? I guess the idea is to stop any wealth draining out of the country.

February 11, 2011 at 10:35 PMtoianw,
Thanks for your thoughts mate. You raise a good point with:
"Dilu mentioned in the podcast that 注射 could refer to 打针 or 吊针"
...which makes me think how we have different ways of saying more or less the same thing in English too and that in this case 打针 is obviously referring to the needle [and the 打 ..ramming it in, hehe] whereas 注射 【look at that water radical, hint, hint] tends to be more referring to the fluid itself being injected. Splitting hairs, and just slightly different ways of describing the same thing. But the question remains about any difference in usage and I like your example question that I hope we get more answers to.
Like your new avatar btw. Daft question but is it meant to be Buddha?
