看到转弯的弯和台湾的湾不一样的因为台湾的湾有三点水的部首【真合适的】,可是我觉得这个湾的弯是个真合适的音因为湾普通有弯，所以湾是个太合适的字

that just sounds so apt too. 3rd tone as you're going round the circle and 4th tone when you've completed it.

oh yeah, I forgot to express surprise also that my rollover has the magpie as "legendary bringer of good luck". Actually, strangely enough, I think I'd rather miss 'em too if I was away from 'em for long enough.

I also can't help but wonder if it's the exact same species btw.

great lesson. I got quite a lot out of this. Found it really interesting to hear about the history and Jenny's reaction when good service came in. Particularly like John's mention taobao tip...useful.

"armyish, greenish clothes"...sounds a bit like the whole Terracotta Warriors strategy all over [granted, no doubt unintentional]
