or perhaps I was wrong about midnight and it is at dawn particularly as the traditional form of the character 陽 has 旦 dawn in it [as represented by the sun above the horizon] and in the bottom right of that character, we have shadows...so I think it must be under the shadow of the 5 pine trees [western side] in that case
阳。。。also means opposite...opposite the 5 pine trees maybe
maybe this is the height of Summer in this northern part of China and thus dawn is pretty early.

It could be buried where there are 5 松 pine trees ..homophone

June 8, 2011 at 5:42 AM朝 shows it's 10th day of 10th month...the left side of the character has 十[tenth] 日 [day] of the 十 [tenth] ....月[month] ..on the right side of the character
they're meeting at midnight on the sunny side of the hill 阳 【the left side of this character representing a hill...so there must be a hill in the park...and the right side representing the sun...so the sunny side of the hill] in the Forest Park and the drugs will be in a box 区。。。the outside of this character represents an open box and the inside ..the x replaces the traditional 品 goods...in this case representing drugs.

June 8, 2011 at 9:05 AMI agree with south side of the mountain, probably for the same reason. When I was writing about dawn being early in summer I thought of the whole endless day in summer if you were to go to the artic circle thing [not that china reaches that high] and then I thought of the angle of the sun and how a steep mountain would potentially always be in the shadow esp with a forest, on the north side at such a time and meant to come back to it, but I had to dash. I presume that's what you mean too.
