“You're also a polyglot”

哈哈,I wish. No, I'm not even close to being fluent in one other language other than my native English, but it's a nice dream that I may become one day if I stick at it but seems a long way off [ I've nearly got my French to my Chinese level, but the worry is it will all meld in the end into a Frengnese...yikes!, hehe]. Enjoy the journey I say, hehe.

Hey, once again it's so great having you join in the conversation. I learnt a lot reading your above post. Great to get your perspective. I hope you'll keep joining in...I really look forward to reading more from you. Thanks so much for sharing. btw, sorry, but I haven't noticed you on any of the other PraxisPods. Which ones do you follow and have you posted on them? Once again, sorry if I've missed it. Cheers mate, Baba

I'd be pretty sure it's the former...a good thing, but let's hear from some Chinese on the matter. I also suspect some things are just neutral...more of a matter of fact observation [eg the wine thing is probably largely neutral..that's my guess anyway]

GilsonRosa,

Great to have a polyglot on board. Huanying pengyou. Re:

"I can't stand them anymore"

..not trying to be funny, but "them" refers to the jokes I guess and not dogs, right? I'm aware of some Chinese eating dogs, but I take it you're saying there are jokes about Brazilians eating dogs?
