March 11, 2012 at 3:08 AM"except for exercises"
..I just tried it out to see what you meant and I can't see that anything different happens with the exercise tab. Do you mind elaborating what you mean? Just curious...can't see that it really matters anyway.
But what has changed is that if I link on a comment under the community tab, it takes me to that lesson's discussion, but doesn't open the discussion up unless I click on it...not a big deal except that when it does open, it doesn't then take you to the comment anymore so you have to scroll to find it. It would be great if we could have the ability to go straight to a comment like we used to be able to do. Cheers

March 11, 2012 at 1:48 AMthanks for the link to Johns video...I was getting curious and wondered if you'd see it only if you had an android. Any idea when the ipad app might be out? I guess it will work similarly?....hope there'll be a video for that
...but I gather, as you said, in the meantime you can still use an ipad to just access and use the CPod website how you would with a standard computer..great

March 11, 2012 at 1:41 AMPretz,
Your comment:
"If no one on the Cpod staff went to film school, it would hire someone that at least has some video creation background"
..reminded me of Marco from ItalianPod. MARCO COME BACK !! hehe, wonder what he's up to?

March 11, 2012 at 1:36 AMHehe, well I don't get the shafa in the new studio, but maybe, being second poster I can put dibbs on a stool in the recording studio, hehe. Speaking of which, I gathered that poddies will be just as welcome to visit the new studio as the old? ...my heart skipped a beat when I heard you were moving and [knowing you're in with another company now] wondered if that situation would remain unchanged.
Was the recent 1st video lesson recorded in the old CPod studio?
Can we have both addresses? are they far apart?
What will become of the old CPod offices? I'd love to at least see where they were.

March 11, 2012 at 1:31 AMSo many improvements lately! I've been wanting an ipad for a while but seeing now that CPod has been working on being ipad compatible has made it that much more worth getting. Duoxie CPod! Any poddies had experience with the new ipad 3, esp with using CPod on it?

March 11, 2012 at 1:18 AMI might just add that while I have seen a lot of commenters say how much easier it is to understand in video than just with audio, this is not my personal experience. I guess it's more natural and it's nice as well as fun to watch and you get the body language, but the bits I struggle with are for the most part when Chinese is spoken very quickly..particularly when there are lots of little particles are strung together and there may be some squishing. In a similar fashion to the hand being quicker than the eye, I think the ear is quicker than the eye and thus video/ or lip reading doesn't really help me here, and may even be distracting potentially. I think it helps at slower speeds. Thus, for mine, the main benefits of video are that it comes closer to mimicking following real life speech, and it's nice to have the body language and expressions, and just so much fun seeing Jenny and John in action [and the actors in the dialogue]. Movie Stars! hehe
