@codexus, yes those were Josh's two most used phrases in China when swarmed by the venders. They literally chased us at times.

Taipan, you're hilarious! Ambtastic is sure to blush now : p I made it to a famous TCM (Trad Chinese Med) facility in Beijing. It was interesting. It escapes me how a TCM doctor can make a diagnosis by palpating your pulse with 3 fingers and glancing at your tongue...

Hey there Taipan. Thanks. Go Big Red! Have you seen Amber in person? She's absolutely stunning. None of mine nor Frank Fradella's photos reflect what a beauty she is in person. Whoever she marries is one lucky guy! She'll make gorgeous babies!

@weixiao...thanks much. I hope that others will experience some of China through the photos. But, I must say, photos just do not convey the magnificence of the Great Wall, nor the absolute stunning beauty that Amber is, nor how gorgeous the children are. @RJ...no, I visit a hospital, but we saw an ambulance that was stuck on the freeway in traffic because no one pulls over, and people drive on the shoulder as if it's a lane!! Yeesh!!

@jdubbiking Here's the link RJBerki posted that I used to learn all about cell phone usage in China (Thanks RJ!) I did have a slight problem at first; I can email you the details privately if you are interested. http://www.telestial.com/sim_cards.php There is also a CPod lesson on cell phone (just search for it.) @wildyaks...yeah, I loved that photo of Josh sleeping on the plane on the way home to the States. He was so tired and so cute : )

I'm so glad people enjoyed this DA. I always look forward to DA and am so happy I can give some of that fun in return : ) Lunetta, wlldyaks, bazza and others: thanks for your kind words! @Jenny, you are truly one of the most gracious, elegant and classy women I've had the privilege to meet. Thank you for being such a blessing to so many people : ) @excuter: that's a great idea. when I have sometime, I'll do it. @henning: yes it is fascinating to see how my kids are learning Mandarin. Even in one short week immersed in China, Josh's tones improved noticeably. Today, after hearing himself, he said,"I didn't get the tones right." He can hear his error in tones even though he couldn't say them exactly right. @RJBerki, I must thank you for the advice on cell phone usage; with your info, I was able to use my Treo 680 there after purchasing a China Mobile SIM card. And, Josh does sound pretty (unexpectedly) articulate :p @Calkins, I didn't have internet access while there so was silent on the boards. But, I'm back now : ) @ artkho, you're the first one to echo that imbedded math phenomenon. I think it must have to do with which side of the brain math is stored. I'll post photos as soon as I can so the community can live vicariously through me till each and everyone of you invade the CPod factory as we did!
