You wouldn't hear someone says this, 他老是很体贴，看我工作一整天回家就帮我按摩。Here we should replace it with 总是.

适合 is a verb, and 合适 is an adjective.
The sentence 你会碰到更适合你的女孩子 cannot be replaced with 合适, but you can say 你会碰到更合适的女孩子。
Here are some examples the two terms,
这件衣服在你身上很合适。
这个合适的工作机会你应该去争取。
弟弟很喜欢帮妹妹化妆，我觉得他适合做一名化妆师。

June 12, 2019 at 6:27 AMYes, it's really similar. I'll say 不仅...还 is "not only...but also...", since it is emphasizing what you're saying at the back of the word 还.
John is tall and handsome. 约翰又高又帅。
John is not only tall but also handsome. 约翰不仅高还很帅。
