I´m from Portugal. When I was a kid my parents told me if I would shower within 3 hour after eating I would die, when I was 12 or 13 or so I finally realized that it made no sense and started showering whenever I felt like, in the beginning tried 2.5 hours, then 2 ... progressively reducing the time. Just in case :D
In some cases it has a background, many decades ago there was no hot water in the houses and your digestion could actually stop if you had a cold shower right after heating, as my grandfather learned, when I grew up I houses had hot water but it took a few decades for the urban mith of the dangers of showering after meal to disapear.
We also had "crazy old ladies" in our village, who were probably innocent anyway.

July 11, 2012 at 10:08 PMHmmmm, I don't know about the PDF... We were used to the old format since years, I notice every time I see chinese in a different font I have added difficulty reading. So, might not be a bad move to change the style every now and then...
On the other hand, the font for english also seems harder to read than the usual. I guess you guys from chinesepod know that there are fonts which are optimized for reading on screen and fonts optimized for printing... So you can't possibly please everyone with one file :-)

Hmmm, I was in Macau a bunch of times, for renewing my Visa, not gambling ;-) There were always happy people coming out of casinos with bags loaded with money.
Talking about casinos in Macau, they provide free BUS service to go around Macau, you from from where you are to the "main bus stop" - the casino - and from there you can travel anywhere else.
