June 15, 2007 at 5:30 AMThank you Man2Toe, It took me a long time to look up the words to write that response. I will definitely explore the tools you've suggested. By the way, what is that in your photo/avatar? Yes Connie and Amber, how do you distinguish sexes of animals? And please use kan and kanqilai in your responses to help us learn.

June 16, 2007 at 3:19 AMThat was really helpful. I've always thought I understood what people were saying when I came across those doubles, but I had no idea the difference in the 'temperature' that it implied. Is the same thing true with adverbs like changchang, ganggang...etc.? Thanks in advance for your help.
