September 17, 2012 at 9:01 PMYou have to decide that for yourself. The expansion vocabulary will come up in a lesson eventually. Personally, I don't try to memorize anything. After you see it often enough it will stick.

September 17, 2012 at 11:46 AMI just kept listening to one lesson after another - no attempt to learn the material, just pick up meaning from John's explanations and a little bit of context. In fact this is all I did for 6 months or more, and I did gradually understand more of the podcasts. Jenny that is, not the dialog itself. Then I went back and studied the lessons properly.
