I just find it amusing that one of the most christian countries in the world is number one in the obesity stakes, and number one by such a huge margin. Isn't there something in the bible which makes gluttony a sin? It seems even the Fundies cherry-pick when it comes to gluttony.

You Americans definitely think differently to the rest of us. I've never heard anyone here complain about a loss of freedom due to being denied ownership of a gun, and I doubt many would have thought it.

Do you also believe that people should have the liberty to smoke a joint in public? Personally, I see nothing wrong with it because the only negative impact (if there is one) is on the smoker. It can't be said that the only negative from firing a gun is on the owner.

I really think Americans have their concept of liberty arse-about.

People have justifiable reasons for having a car. There is no justifiable reason for owning a gun, other than shooting animals for a living.

In the first expansion sentence, the mouseover Pinyin for 决定 says 'decision' instead of 'juédìng'. This also occurs in the Pinyin of the printer-friendly version of the Expansion sentences.

My god, half of those things make me puke just thinking about them.

No wonder the US is practically an outlier at number one in the obesity rankings.

In the 3rd Expansion sentence, the mouseover Pinyin for 谈恋爱 shows 'court' instead of tán liánài.

This also occurs in the printable version of the expansion sentences.
