I've just successfully played all the audio links in the grammar and dictation section. The problem seems to be at your end.

This is odd. A few days ago I made a post here stating my strong views against homosexuality. The post got deleted, but not before you replied, stating that you couldn't agree with me more.

It is not correct to say that Kěyǐ and néng are interchangeable. I would rather leave a full explanation to the CPod staff, but to me kěyǐ has more the feel of 'having permission'.

Take a listen to this Qingwen:

QingWen91

It covers 破, 坏 and 2 other words for broken.

Regarding rats and mice, there was a "discussion" about that topic about 4 months ago on another lesson, where I tried to explain the taxonomy of rats/mice. This time I want to avoid being poo-pooed for stating scientific fact, so I will only give the simple answer here: no, Chinese don't tend to distinguish, although they might refer to rats as 大老鼠.

No abuse from me. Except that I'm afraid I see your stance as still being too liberal on this issue.

OK, it only works in the box below with all the icons above it. I don't know how to do it when replying to someone (like now).

1. Type the words you want to be in the link.

2. Highlight (select) those words.

3. Click the 'chain' icon - 2nd from right.

4. Paste the URL into the 'Link URL' field.

5. Click 'Insert'.
