In the 10th Expansion sentence, the mouseover for 学期 gives its Pinyin as 'semester' instead of xuéqī. This also occurs in the English translation of the print version of the Expansion sentences.

Why not? I would. I doubt dress style affects the ability to teach. (And we are not learning off her anyway - its just a photo.) I do agree with you in the sense that I don't find this look particularly attractive - I prefer the natural look. But inappropriate?

You don't have to answer this of course, but I am wondering as to your religious leanings, and whether they are behind your desire for conservatism.
