Wow, I kind of think the service is still bad, relatively speaking. At least now I understand better the origin of this behavior. I will remember to be grateful its not worse. Somehow it doesn't bother me much. China is China, and I love being there. Its a beautifully complicated thing.

China has changed very quickly. As a boy coming up I always heard it was as Jenny and David described it. When I first came to SH I felt like I had been lied to by the American political machine, but it really did change that fast.

I happen to know that you are very metrosexy. "Too metrosexy for your shirt". (Time for "Right Said Fred" to update their song.) Given the choices you have given me: dumb gorilla, homosexual, or metro, I guess I have to strive for the metro option. How about we invent our own neologism....intelectualsexual.. Smart is the new sexy. Or maybe bilingualsexual? Polyglots are hot. And a petrosexual loves his car, very autoerotic. Its a stupid word in my opinion. Besides it doesnt translate well. :-)
