August 1, 2012 at 9:31 AMHey Tal,
Hmmm, hadnt picked up on that one. Interesting, and thanks baba, I will never look at toothpicking quite the same again, but you may be right. I must say that women tend to behave much differently. They are usually quite proper. Its the men, but as I watch them I know they learned their habits and mannerisms the same place I did, from their fathers, so I forgive and move on. More beer fixes anything.

July 31, 2012 at 3:32 PMhehe, I still have vivid memories of my mother and others reminding me to mind my manners, or not to talk with my mouth full etc. China is kind of like that 3 stooges episode where they try to teach the "boys" to act civilized at a high society party and it all breaks down, ending in one big pie fight. Chinese restaurants are so noisy. I think that is what I noticed most. But in amazing contrast, you Must cover your mouth when using a toothpick. Never got that one. If a toothpick is used properly, your lips are closed and you cant see anything anyway. But when in Rome ....

July 28, 2012 at 3:05 PMActually I was playing off of Ken Carroll's use of the quote during his troubles, not so long ago. I do miss the "Glib one" at times. Ken that is. Not Twain.

August 3, 2012 at 10:14 AMgood point, although I dont know who Ross Jeffries is, but notice the line
我们继续喝啤酒,看帅哥。At this point its the same he has done to them, except for the smile. I guess there is no risk of being a creepy girl, so its ok. Women are like the police. They are so used to hearing lies that telling the truth gets you nowhere.
