August 23, 2008 at 9:36 AMGreat show, great interviews. Again, you are a class act, through and through. You get an "A" in my book. Very nice. Unfortunately the olympics will be over by the time I get to China but I still cant wait to come again. It looks like the afterglow of the olympics will be a hugely positive one. Good for China, good for the world. Good for me. I am very pleased with how this has gone so far. This will go a long way toward improving the world's view of China. Congratulations to the Chinese people, and thank you for working so hard to make it a sucess on so many levels.

August 19, 2008 at 9:01 AMA cheezy line is a cheezy line regardless of language.Good luck with that one light. At least we learned how to say black eye. You might need the vocab when it comes time to tell us how this worked out for you. :-)

August 19, 2008 at 8:35 AMEnglish would help those of us not ready for this level to get something out of it. It is still good for getting used to sentence structure and vocabulary. I fail to see how forcing someone to spend countless hours using a dictionary helps them learn faster. Looking it up is looking it up whether its a dictionary or at the bottom of the page. All who want to be challenged could make their best first pass effort without the crutch of course. No difference. I suspect this is more about resources than teaching philosophy.

August 12, 2008 at 9:56 AMAmber,
So it seems there is no way to specify "shower". Is that correct?

August 12, 2008 at 9:50 AMBrent, actually after reading Johns article I think I will give it a try. Usually I am too tired at night to revel in the idea of a shower but I am going to push past that. I do take showers at night sometimes since there are other reasons for wanting to enter the sack clean, but alas I always shower again in the AM.
The avatar was me yes, but not much good if you had to ask. Time to take a new pic I guess.

August 11, 2008 at 9:41 AMJen, I have been meaning to give that a try. I like the keep the bed clean thing and it would save me a lot of time in the morning. If only I can find a simple cure for bed head. :-)
