obitoddkenobi,

Thank you, and I would like to echo the same sentiment to all, 恭喜发财. Who ever said you cant buy happiness was wrong. It should be, you cant charge happiness but if you have the cash - woohooo.

All joking aside, may everyone have a great year of the Ox. For some reason I feel good about this year. Jenny will buy new clothes, CPOD will continue to amaze, and may the rest of us live a happy healthy cash flush year and rise to new heights in our Chinese learning experience. All the best to the entire community.

RJ

ddrlump (sorry but that is a mouthfull to type),

I have seen 3Q also. I think Matt was tired.

btw - you seem to be doing extremely well for the short time you have been here (you said 9 months?). Especially considering you have to double translate sometimes. Good for you.

Kesirui - thanks for the "warning". I will check it out right away.

I made it so easy it was hard. Pretty sneaky huh?

there is a lesson that gives a few examples but I learned them by chatting on line with co-workers in China.

Brent- I would have to say until now there is no such word as bolded. I believe you must say emboldened but what do I know. Anyway its up to us, we are the owners of the language, we create the speech and the linguists come along after and try to fit all of our language into a set of grammatical rules.  The rules do not come first, the rules are not perfect, and there are always exceptions. I also reserve the right as a native speaker, to use "poetic license", any time I see that it works.
