My dictionary has 文身 but not 纹身. Could someone explain the difference?

This is such a useful lesson. I already knew the basic construction, but you provided many particular verbal applications I wouldn't have known how to put together. 头发竖起来, 尿裤子, 去纹身, even 吃下, which I'm sure I've come across but just forgotten. Thank you.

Incidentally, is 吃下 similar to 吃光? Kind of like "eat the whole thing" or "eat it all up"?

Thank you! I had come across 趁机 before, but dictionary and context still left me wishing for more clarity. So nice to have it explicitly explained, with both positive and negative examples.

One thing though, these words were not discussed in terms of how formal or casual they are. Could someone speak to that?

Jenny is married to a Canadian. Perhaps a factor?

Concerning the use of 剥 in 剥羊皮, perhaps you could interview some taxidermists and create a lesson on the practices of taxidermy in China. I think that would be very interesting. I wonder how it would be different from or similar to the practices in other countries.

Is there a difference between 我不醉 and 我没醉?

Also, what is the difference between 穿着一件黑色衣服 and 穿着黑色衣服?

Normally one wouldn't think of hallucinating from alcohol. Is this a case where the officer is just looking for an excuse, or does 幻觉 mean something different from "hallucination" in English?

Thanks. Is 最好了 here acting like a set phrase kind of like 太好了? Or does 了 have some other purpose here?

"我就说嘛,我们产品的性价比最好了。"

Would this sentence still be correct if 的 replaced the 了?

"我给大家表演一个魔术,好不好?" is translated as: "I'll do some magic for everyone. Is that okay?"

Would the 一个 here imply that it is just one trick? Would "I'm going to do a magic trick for everyone, okay?" be more accurate? Could the above sentence still be used to refer to a series of tricks?
