Those examples are fine, using 安排 (ānpái) to refer to event planning.

What do you want to say, exactly?

拖鞋 tuōxié = flip-flops and/or slippers. (from the supplementary vocab)

July 6, 2010 at 2:55 AMThe issue here is that 主意 contains a special tonal exception. If you look up 主 in a character dictionary, you'll see just "zhǔ." Many dictionaries (not all), however, will show you a different reading for the word 主意: "zhúyi." This reflects what people actually say.
So 好主意 should be pronounced "hǎo zhúyi."
