Here's the transcript. (This one is dedicated to RJ!)

我们的外教

大家好,我是娇杰。

今天我要说的是我们的外教。

大一的时候,我们的外教是一个很漂亮的美国女孩子。

她大眼睛、高个子,金色的头发,每天穿很好看的衣服。

她不会说中文,如果我们说了中文,她就用大大的眼睛看着我们,脸变得很红。

我们班的男生很高兴,别的班的男生也来我们班上课,那个学期非常愉快。

As I mentioned before, soon we'll have the transcript on the dialogue tab and PDF.

Changye,

Ha ha! Too funny! Thanks for sharing. (You don't have a link to the article, do you?)

Someone should make a "funny but true" Chinese news website...

mikenotinjubei,

OK, I get you. Yeah, I have to agree... our expansion sentence writers (Jiaojie and Connie) do a great job. Thanks for calling attention to these silent heroes! :)

mikenotinjubei,

People really do talk that way! It's not just "having fun"...

mikenotinjubei,

Grammar intense lessons, huh? I'm not sure which those would be... I'm much more aware of "grammar light" lessons than "grammar intense" lessons.

It was great finally talking to Cassie. We look forward to meeting her in person someday.

I've been to Fuzhou too, and it was a very pleasant stay. The people were so friendly!

RJ,

I understand your frustrations, but it's not that we're being stubborn. Allow me to quote myself from the comments of the last story:

Right now the videos are missing some of the features of full lessons: dialogue tab, full transcript in the PDF, difficulty level, etc. This is partly due to an insufficiently flexible backend production system. We're finishing up an upgrade now (it's 80% done), which will allow full support for things like transcripts.

对牛弹琴 is indeed a cool chengyu (actually one of the first I ever learned), but as far as I know, there's no connection here.

joannah,

Thanks for pointing that out about Baigoogledu. I didn't realize. Firefox reports this:

Of the 7 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 2 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2008-10-15, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2008-10-04.

Malicious software includes 2 scripting exploit(s). Successful infection resulted in an average of 6 new processes on the target machine.

Malicious software is hosted on 2 domain(s), including sexwh321.3322.org, wg171.com.

1 domain(s) appear to be functioning as intermediaries for distributing malware to visitors of this site, including sexwh321.3322.org.

It's a shame... we wouldn't have mentioned the site if we had known about this, but since we mention it in the podcast, I'll leave up the link with a warning.

changye,

This is a case of dictionaries not keeping up with spoken Chinese. It's definitely "下载" (xia4 zai3), regardless of what makes more sense based on character semantics. (Those don't really hold much weight with the people.)
