It was great meeting you, and it was especially enlightening to talk to at the beginning and end of your China sojourn. It's really cool that we could even document it in these two "Aussie interviews."

Filming has already finished for "Season 1," which is episodes 1-5. Stay tuned... Marco, Matt, and everyone involved is doing really great work!

When you're here long enough, you start to become much more tolerant of certain types of music you might not have originally liked. It happened to me with J-pop in Japan, and it took a little longer for Chinese music, but I'm OK with a lot of it now.
I originally really liked 花儿乐队 (I'm into fast-paced, upbeat music), but then I found out about all the plagiarism they've been accused of (some of which they admitted to). It made me lose a lot of respect for the band.

I've had middle-aged Chinese people give up their seats for me on buses, apparently just because I'm a 老外. Sweet, but very embarrassing!
