April 20, 2008 at 5:19 PMI would have thought that some topics like noisily blowing one's nose or burping in a restaurant were to be discussed. Ok, the shower times etc. are interesting as well. Other things like pointing at one's chest instead of one's nose when referring to oneself come to my mind, too. Happily, smiling is genetic to all humans :-)

April 8, 2008 at 9:26 PMThis 不在 is very convenient. It only gets annoying when you go to someone's office, do not encounter the person and ask around: "他在哪儿?" only to get "他不在" as an answer... As if I didn't have eyes to fathom that!

April 6, 2008 at 4:40 PMThat's a nice introductory podcast. It doesn't even have the news and features jingle :-) It just comes to my mind that some introductory - interview type ? - audio for each of the presenters would be fun to listen to. It could be done in Chinese AND English.

April 23, 2008 at 8:01 PMAs May 1, 2008 is approaching fast, I thought I'd bring this lesson back to everyone's attention :-) What's "Chinese learners of the world unite"? 全世界中文学生们, 联合起来! [quán shìjiè zhōngwén xuéshēngmen, liánhé qǐlái]
