这个课程让我笑了。 但是我以前以为这样的课程真无聊。 一听,就发生挺有意思的。谢谢!

Henning, 我也很糊涂。”课程”的量词到底是什么词?‘个’还是‘部’?谁能告诉我们?我原来以为中文播客朋友们中,为了我大家都知道这个。

This lessons might be useful for turning down things other than tea, but I don't think I could ever say 够了 to an offer of tea. Ah, I've been known to drink pot after pot in the cold winter month. Let's see. . . water's boiling even as I speak. Should have have 绿茶? At one point, I had more than 30 kinds of tea, but sadly I drank most of them now.

lajiao, I recently was talking with a Chinese teacher (not my own teacher, however) and I reached the end of my abilities and said 算了吧。 She told me that was a little too abrupt and someone else suggested 不要紧 bu4 yao4 jin3 (don't worry about it) as a better alternative. Anybody else care to comment on this?

Changye, Thanks for the translation. Hey, did you find learning Chinese hanzi (vs Japanese Kanji) to be perfectly easy? I'm haven't yet done the serious hanzi study that I need to. Just been working hard on my listening skills and barely recognizing characters. Sigh. . . Perhaps I should assign myself the task of translating your always lovely Chinese posts whenever you write.

Changye, 아이구 참. . 秘密 mi4 mi4 secret 或者 huo4 zhe3 or 剧情 ju4 qing2 plot 承认 cheng2 ren4 acknowledge 放弃 fan4 qi4 give up 结局 jie2 ju2 end of the story 接受 jie1 shou4 accept

I want to type in Chinese but sadly my computer's IME is frozen solidly in English. hen3 ke3 xi1! I consider myself to be just barely an intermediate student, so I don't usually tackle these Upper-intermediate lessons. But, for the heck of it, I just last night listened to "A Jizhou Child's Warning" and I was shocked that I understand most all of the dialogue the first time I listened. Thanks Chinesepod! When I started one year ago, I didn't even know "ni hao"! Anyway, I'm very excited to listen today's lesson. You guys are the best! Oh, and yesterday, I ran into a Chinese language teacher at my work, and I was shocked that we were able to have a comfortable conversation in Chinese. One year ago, I was a total newbie!

听过了今天的科,我想起来了。 四年前我在美国里跟华人一起住了六个月。当时太太让我吃一碗冬瓜糖。一吃就开心死了。太好吃了! 那我住在韩国,这里的南瓜汤很好吃,不过很可是没有冬瓜。

안녕하세요! Nice to see you here HenryLee. I can't answer your question for certain, but I'm guessing that the original sentance 我喜欢喝南瓜汤 is correct. Just like in English people say "I took medicine" but Koreans says "I ate medicine." Anyway, I'm willing to be corrected by anyone who knows more.
