October 13, 2020 at 6:44 PMHello, good question! 又 and 再 both mean again, but the difference is 又 implies something has happened before has repeated or is going to occur again in the near future, and 再 means the action will be repeated in the future. In this case, "又看到一个红绿灯" means "We saw/see another traffic light" and "再过一个红绿灯" "You'll pass another traffic light" is something that will happen in the future.
