February 14, 2021 at 1:15 AMThe grammar and sentence structures in this lesson are indeed below upper-intermediate level, but there are many new vocabulary related to environmental friendly introduced in the lesson too. I personally think this is a lower upper-intermediate level lesson. Hope this helps!

February 10, 2021 at 1:35 AMGood question! The double 了 structure is used to express the duration of an ongoing activity. One 了 is placed after the verb, and the other is put at the end of the sentence. For example, you can say 我睡了一天了. “I have been sleeping for a whole day”.
The sentence 你学了汉语多久了? "How long have you been learning Chinese?" implies the speaker assumes the other person has been learning Chinese and is still currently learning it. I hope this helps!

February 9, 2021 at 12:22 AMDon't be upset if you can't understand everything! Whenever you make the jump to the next level, keep in mind that this is a slow and gradual process and you don't have to force yourself to only study lessons at the harder level. You can always include some intermediate lessons, and over time you'll realize you're slowly increasing the amount of upper-intermediate lessons and decreasing the intermediate lessons, that's when you know you're ready for the next level!
