The word 一趟 in this sentence actually does not have the underlying meaning you suggested. 来我办公室一趟 is a common sentence and it doesn't emphasize on one single visit (which may be his last one). October 24, 2021 at 5:57 PMGood question! 跟 and 和 both mean "with" and they can be interchangeable in most cases. For example, 我想跟你吃饭/我想和你吃饭. As for 一起, it means "together" and it is placed differently in a sentence. For example: 我们一起去看电影. The sentence structure goes like this: S. + 一起 + V. + O.
