Unable to post using a mobile

It is seemingly impossible to post from a mobile - the mobile site does not allow you to select a group, and presumably the post disappears into the ether. I can't actually type in the main post box on the main site from a mobile (Android 2.1 running Opera Mini), and if I hit reply on an existing post, I can type in the box, but sending it makes it disappear off into the ether again.

The stock browser that comes with the HTC (whether it is Chrome or not, I have no idea) can post if it is a reply only. I can't post in the main box on the main site, because it isn't recognised as a box I can type in.

Do you have this problem using the Google Android Chrome browser?
