Hi, I just upgraded to 4.0 and now Chinesepod app crashes whenever I start to download any dialogue from either 3G (in China) or WiFi. Even if I click on a lesson with no dialogue (like new/features) it crashes. Any other users having this issue yet? AnJie

Hey all, there's a new iOS4 app coming out, but it's still going through the review process at Apple. We'll let you know when it comes out.

Same problem here. "Cannot connect to Chinesepod server". When should we expect a fix?

Hi, I've also got same issues and awaiting a solution. When I upgraded to OS4.0 from 3.1.3, my app does not refresh anymore and when I reinstalled the app, I can't even log-in (says "Cannot connect to Chinesepod server"). Would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi anjie,

I've also upgraded to IOS 4.0 and have the same problem. :-( At first, the app kept crashing whenever I tried to download new lessons. I deleted and reinstalled it, and now I get the error message "cannot connect to chinesepod server" when I try to log in. Only the free lessons that come with the app work.

I guess the app is not compatible with IOS 4.0. I hope there will be an updated version soon, because I really like this app...

By the way, I'm using an upgraded iphone 3GS.

anjie,

I hope you do get this issue sorted out as it will help others following in your path.

Sorry I can't help [at least this post should bump your question], but do you mind me asking...when you refer to 4.0 ..are you referring to the new iPhone 4 which has just been released, or are you referring to an older iPhone that you have just updated it's version?
