Hello! We are very sorry for the confusion. We thought you would call at 6:20 pm. We have wondered what happened! In US we have daylight savings time during the summer, when the clocks change. Maybe that is the source of the confusion?

Please do call again next week. If you call at 7:20am Thursday Beijing time, that is 6:20pm Wednesday our time. That time is OK for us.

I made some sentences for the assignment this week. I used the new Chinese Hanzi tool that I downloaded to write them.  I used some of the vocabulary in this week's lessons. We have been preparing for my grandparents to visit!

Here are my sentences. Some of them are true!

我 想 妈妈。（妈 妈 不 在 我 们 的 家！）

the next three sentences use vocabulary from the lesson 'Who is that?' and together they form a dialogue

你 是 谁？

我 是 你 的 朋 友.

噢， 对！

here is my last sentence， it does not really use very much of the vocabulary in this week's lessons, but I like it.

我 喜欢 三明治！
