Studying Chinese Currency

I am looking for a good source of information that can tell me about what I see when looking at Chinese currency, such as the one above. The history and shengci would be a nice break from my usual studies. Any suggestions? My searches have come up dry. Even a Chinese language website would be fine, as I could translate it with Google and then take key words and do Wiki lookups.
