May we just use this as a question/annotation etc. thread for the 你们喜欢什么电影？thread in 中文健身房? Since it's already titled like it is.
OK I am going ahead and doing so.
Please please someone (小虎同学？) tell me--how to say "vehicle" in Chinese, as in every film Elvis Presley made is by definition an Elvis Presley vehicle.
I don't even know how to say this in Japanese!

You got the right idea, but I suggest you make a new post, that way it will be harder for people to miss.
By the way, I don't know how to say that in Chinese either ;)

Oh wait, I meant you can highlight the troubled part in the discussion and then bring the text here and ask a question. I know I probably wasn't clear. I'll try to think of a new way to explain that.

So I'm trying 意料中 of course in the hope that it works like I think it can--as the opposite of 意料之外/出乎意料 which I had just had explained to me.
Then I think I messed up the attempt to say "well she seems to be more popular than 'Japan' at least!"; this being a reference to all the user comments following the article on the movie I linked to. Comparison patterns I often have trouble with.
To repeat my other question asked above,
Could someone (小虎同学？) tell me--how to say "vehicle" in Chinese, as in every film Elvis Presley made is by definition an Elvis Presley vehicle.
If guess these kind of vehicles are simply not referred to in Chinese ... ?
