Going from italian to english and finally chinese, there's so much lost in translation.
Mona Lisa means Madam Lisa (Ms Lisa).
But unfortunately Mona Lisa was transliterated in chinese as 蒙娜·丽莎 instead of 丽莎女士.

其实,我觉得列奥纳多·达·芬奇就是异形。
None of the people in his paintings look really human do they? ;)
我一辈子就不喜欢了他的蒙娜丽莎,可是才能看到我们jenny当作那位神秘女人,我喜欢。:)

tvan,
Ah yeah,当然,不好意思,哈哈.Would you believe it was late and brain was shutting down when I made that comment? I knew it was Leonardo's of course ,but when I saw it ,it was in the Louvre and I was kinda indirectly referring to that fact and the fact that the article Calkins linked to was not solely about mona lisa but this new interactive museum, which looks pretty interesting and entertaining.

At Chinesepod, don't we have our own fluent Mandarin speaking Mona Lisa?

Awesome link Calkins! I don't wanna upset art afficionados and fellow Francophiles, but even though I've seen the real Mona Lisa,I'd have to say I'd rather go and chat to that interactive one.The other stuff looked pretty neat too. What fun.

August 30, 2009 at 01:17 PM哎,真丢脸!以前我写错了。我要写列奥纳多·达·芬奇就是外星人,不是异形!如果他是外星人的话,怪不得他很有天赋!
