@changye, 真是可惜啊!在上海却看不到日全食,只能再等400年了!
@Connie, 你的眼镜白买了,哈哈!

Hi xiaophil
I'm happy to hear that you could enjoy the "atmosphere" of the solar eclipse, at least, hehe. I hope that raygo, who stays in 四川 (?), could also see the eclipse. Indidentally, any reports from Chinesepod staff in Shanghai?

It was a surreal moment being so dark during mid-morning. It was started raining hard right before the eclipse came through and ended not too long after. It felt like fate. Although it would have been nice to have seen the halo of the sun, the rain added to the aura.

I made it! I could see the partial eclipse through a break of the clouds just when it was maximum. 谢天谢地!Are there any lucky guys who could observe the total solar eclipse today?

There is going to be a "50%" partial solar eclipse, which is not so bad, that can be seen in my city in northeast China, but unfortunately it's cloudy today. I hope that I can see the eclipse through a break in the clouds. 上帝保佑!
