can anybody tell me what my chinese name means?
The friend who gave me the name compared it with feichanghao which I know means "very good." She said hai keyi meant "good enough" and laughed.
I'm having trouble with the word "hai." which I naively take to mean "still" so I thought it could mean "still can."
mei you = no have
hai you = still have. I hear this expression a lot on TV but can never guess the context.
hai mei you = still no have?
haikeyi
Sure it's 还可以, meaning "okay", "passable". Did you want to know because you don't know what it means, or you thought it would be fun for us to guess?
It probably means 还可以 "It's ok", "still can".
