I've been living in Beijing now since February and will be here for at least another year. Not a big fan of the pollution here but, other than this, a like the city. It's my first time really living in a city as well.
Studying Chinese at Tsinghua University and will stay here for another semester or two. Starting to make contacts in the Chinese medical field now which is a good start for me as I came here to further my studies.

Not sure if you guys are still monitoring this site, but if you are, i'm up for pushing forward my mandarin studies outside the home.

I just moved to Beijing in August. Since I am working full time (in an English-speaking environment) it has been challenging to have as much time to learn and practice Mandarin. I am pretty keen though and have progressed.
I am excited to continue my learning and see how far I can get while I am here (which will be 2+ years).
