Is the Forum Dead?

Seems pretty sleepy over there.  Looks like it was a great resource at one time.  Lot's of good info and advice.

Seems like CPOD has no guidelines on what goes on a lesson comment.   Some of the commentary would fit better in a forum.

I'd vote for keeping the lesson comments on the lesson topic and directly related material.

If there's a separate idea, it might be time for a new thread?

Then again, do what you want to do, you will anyway...in fact, I think I'll go blog something over on the Tiananmen lesson.

I wonder how many of Cp poddies know where the link to the forum is. It is, to say the least, not so noticeable.

I still login 5 or 6 times a day to the forums and help Bazz with the admin side of things. I answer questions every now and then when I am capable of it. You're right that it is currently being underutilised though.

It's a pity that the CP forum is so "asleep". It has much better forum features.

The forum system here is not very powerful: e.g. no possibility to see the new posts since the last visit, no search, etc.

It was the vortex of the Community. Now it fell asleep as everybody gathers here. There is just no way to follow more than one or two CPod community channels. I recently weeded out about 30 spam entries so it doesn't look all too worn off.
