Feedback on new visual interface

In my opinion the excessive use of empty white space in the new format is visually unappealing and very harsh on the eyes when studying in a room with subdued lighting. Also the bright red translations in the dialogue are very distracting - I would suggest a light grey color.

I really don't like new interface:

1)there's no the search tab on main page, i have to make two passages to search a lesson. If smartphone is slow, this means waste a lot of time

2)the black stripe on top, when I zoom in with my tablet, becomes so big! I can't see anything else

3)skritter now appears with the left part on top and the right part a lot down, they're not paired in the same area of the screen.

I really prefer the old version!

Before there was a place to write in and directly search what you need. Now passage is double

But there is a search tab on the main page - right up the top next to 'Tools'.

I agree with the comment about excessive white space. it seems like half the page is wasted now, and you have to scroll down a lot further to get to something useful.

Was this change maybe to facilitate people browsing on tablets? That's the only way it makes sense. I thought the previous interface was actually laid out quite nicely using multiple columns, rather than a single column with a lot of wasted space. This doesn't seem like an improvement.

Ah thanks, that's what it was... things look quite a bit less hideous now.

If you are seeing only one column, try zooming out.

The view you get now seems to be affected by your zoom.

The "Home" button goes to "course" instead of "self-study" as I selected in options.

More complaints:  tabs on lesson pages don't display anything on Chrome.

On ie, I keep getting warnings from my anti-virus software whenever I click on a lesson on the dashboard.

It seems Cpod attempted to install a browser extension without my permission.  This is very not cool.

The site should work with an unmodified browser.  Modifying my browser without my consent is malware behavior.
