Flash Card Vocabulary

1) Is there a web page that describes how to use the flashcard feature? If so, it may answer my questions below
2) I was about to type a question about saving vocabulary from the expansion page but figured it out. It might be helpful to add "Mac users command-shift-click" to the "left click to save words" message.
3) Do the flashcards have an audio mode?
Thanks
Love the site

Ye, it's a bit steep, but it includes a lifetime subscription to sync service...
As far as CPod, I am still holding my breath for the magic 'do it' button in the next version of the app to talk to Anki, and to my personal favorite -- iknow app...

$24.99 for an app!?!?! Ok, if I can save my cpod flashcards to anki directly without the 24 clicks to save to anki now, I'm there.

yea, the fee Anki charges for iPod version is financing the desktop software and the sync services. I felt no problem paying for it, it's a great software all around, written and supported by just one guy, afaik!
That said, I would prefer "Save to Anki" button inside the CPod app instead of a home-grown flashcard thingie, now that would be something.

Ah, disappointing for you. When I was thinking about getting my first smartphone 2 1/2 years ago I specifically chose an Android device because back then Anki didn't even have an iPhone app (which was kind of weird at the time). Here I am years later and Ankidroid is still probably the one thing I use my phone for the most total hours in the week.

oh, I forgot. I knew desktop Anki is free, but it's the iPod app that's an arm and a leg. I can stop being giddy now.

what, Free? did someone say free? I thought there was a charge for anki, but if its free, I'm there! Let me know when where what to download! I'm searching now.

September 13, 2012 at 01:46 PMI don't use the flashcards on the site anymore since discovering Anki. Anki is great, easy to use, and... best of all... free.
