Replying on Page 1 of a long thread

Is anybody else having problems with this? I've been trying since yesterday to reply to comments on Page 1 of this thread http://chinesepod.com/lessons/playing-mahjong, but hitting Reply gets me no response. I've had no problem replying to a comment on the newest page (2).

I've had that problem periodically with IE on Windows XP.  Don't usually have this problem on Firefox on Windows 7. Sometimes have it on IE on Windows 7.
