Time for a little"shameless self-promotion."

Last year I compiled an album of Western Christmas songs sung in Chinese and posted it on my blog. Check it out here:

I find it pretty easy to follow the characters with songs.

Yep, all pinyin does. I can't read the stuff with the little marks on it without bumping it up to 36 point, so I find the numbers more useful. Besides, having it work in your PDA (without looking up unkown words) is a big advantage. It's very easy to do a search/replace and strip off the numbers, which don't matter when singing anyway.

Thanks Bazza. Our friend learning 100 sentences for xmas could add one or two of these songs!

Sorry I've only done numbered pinyin, but at least those of us with Palm PDAs can easily copy it across in that form so we can sing on the run while listening.
