Disappointed in Chinesepod!!

I pay a lot of money to access chinesepod and my lessons on my phone. But when i don´t pay i can´t retrieve my old downloads. Isn´t that stelling something i already bought???

Hi ibowfornoman,

Sorry for the confusion, but watyamacallit is right, our subscriptions are for access to the site during the period of the subscription, not perpetually. Of course we do allow (and encourage) users to download the MP3s and other course material during their subscriptions, as it's both good to have a backup and to let you access it later.

Did you instruct iTunes to download your old lessons to your iPhone?

I don't understand this bit - your 'old downloads' are on your computer, in iTunes or similar, aren't they?  You keep the ones you bothered to download as far as I know.

The word you yourself use is access. You paid for access to these lessons. You chose not to access them during your subscription period. It looks like you will have to pay for another subscription, and this time make the effort to download these lessons during this period.
