Hi Tara,
A day in advance 中文是 “提前一天ti2qian2 yi1tian1” or " 早一天"。
hmm... I am still a little bit of confused about "Shenme shuó mǎi". but "a few days in advance" should be "提前几天ti2qian2 ji3tian1" or "早几天"。
Hope that helps! :)

Nǐ hǎo Helen,
I thought I wrote: zhōngguó lǐ. Jiù shì "Zhōngguó li" mā?
For "tiān xiānjìn" I meant a "day in advance" but somehow wrote it out incorrectly. Shenme shuó mǎi "a few days in advance" mā?

Hi Tara,
你写的挺好的,but could you please let me know what did you mean by "tiān xiānjìn" in English?
Oh, by the way, there should be a "li" when you try to say in a certain country or city.
Hope that helps.
