iphone/pod app - not refreshing?

Hiya

Seem to be having a problem with the ipod app. I know there are new lessons, because I see them on site, but if I try to refresh the app, they don't show up. It's still on the same list as when I updated the app last week.

 

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi xiao_liang,

I just checked my copy of the app, and it doesn't appear to be broken for me. I'll look into it more tomorrow when I get into the office (and have access to the app's code) and figure out what's going on, and push an update if need be.

Heh! Glad I'm helping to further break the app ;-) Sorry, I didn't get around to reinstalling, but I notice that for some weirdo reason, the app is updating the list during the week, but not on the weekend! So this morning, none of of the new lessons were showing. Then I went and looked at bookmarked lessons, went back, and one of them had appeared, but not any others.

Reeaaaaally strange :)

That doubling up bug is the one that we found when looking for the cause of your original bug -- it will be fixed in 2.0.4.

Yea, they were on the dashboard, but not on the app. This morning, I noticed that the list of lessons was in the app twice now! I'll try reinstalling it tonight.

Hey xiao_liang, sorry I meant to respond to this yesterday and it slipped my mind. I can't figure out what would be causing the issue with your app. There *is* a bug with updating and the "more" functionality introduced in 2.0.3, but it shouldn't be causing the issue you're seeing. We will be fixing it in 2.0.4, though.

I know there were issues with subscribed lessons not showing up on the Dashboard in a timely manner... it may be somehow related to that. The lessons were showing up on your Dashboard, though, right? But not in the app?

Randomly when I checked last night before bed, it had refreshed with the new lessons, just several days late. I'll check tonight to see if the new lesson just published has shown up.

I have the same issue.  The only way I can get lessons to refresh is to delete my account info on the iphone app and then reenter and reauthorize account.
