The new Chinesepod app

Why did you change the chinesepod app ? The new one is less useful than the older one ...
before it was possible to ear dialogue and at the same time move from one sentence to another and read clearly each one (not yet)
before it was possible to tap on a word on vocab to enlarge it (not anymore)
I wish you will correct it soon

If I had been exposed to the new version of the ChinesePod app, I would never have paid to join ChinesePod. In fact, I was in the process of exploring gift memberships for friends and family - that's out until ChinesePod commits to restore the functionality and features of the previous version.
@ChinesePod, can we do manual reinstalls of the prior version? Will you assist us with that?
Last but not least, headed over to the iTunes store to leave my negative feedback on the current version.
Edit: review of 2.0 posted to iTunes:
If you have the old version, do NOT upgrade. Repeat, do NOT upgrade. This is horribly crippled in terms of features, especially with regards to Flashcards: no shuffle, no slide interface to move to next card. WTF - an iPhone app that doesn't utilize a slide interface? Who're the devs? Did they get replaced by out of work gold farmers?
If you are new to Chinesepod, then be alerted - if mobile matters, you are NOT getting what you paid for in the 2.0 version of the app.
Edit edit: wow, the flashcards don't sync anymore either unless you login/out. I use my mobile phone to learn Chinese b/c I'm too busy to sit down at a computer and do it. As other posters have said, there is no point in paying for ChinesePod without a working mobile app.
@Peterning11: is ChinesePod going to extend our subscriptions for the weeks it takes the devs to fix this problem? Please let the programming and management teams know that users are angry and frustrated. The iPhone programmers should be ashamed of themselves for putting out such a poorly executed paid product!

The old version is why I pay for Chinesepod in the first place. I have no requirement to pay for chinesepod if the functionality of the old app does not return.

Hi Nery, we recognize there are some issues with the most recent version of the app, we will be making minor updates to fix the various problems associated with the new iPhone app in the coming weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience.

January 02, 2011 at 06:20 PMYes! The previous app seemed to have a good functional basis which improvements could have been brought to. Adding new flashcards from new lessons was excellent. Also not having a static amount of lessons in both "Lessons" and "Bookmark" tabs would be great. I would like to be able to access all my bookmarked lesson on the app (I think this wasn't possible on the previous app as well)
Thanks,
