I haven't had much luck with friends or dictionaries with sailing terminolgy like: types of boat - sloop, ketch...; parts - genoa, blocks, halyards, sheets...;  actions - tack, jib, heave to ...

<> Anyway,  what  the  heck  did  Geng  He  say  when  he wanted to shout, "man the mizzen mast before I keel haul you!", or whatever order would be in character for him to shout or wisper, etc.?

This would be a great lesson topic since, even in English, sailing has it's own vocabulary.

This list exhausts my knowledge:

Sailboat - fan1chuan2 - 帆船

Starboard - you4xian2 - 右舷

Port - zuo3xian2 - 左舷

I can see the lesson. "Head up, head up, we're about to jibe! (splash)." which is different than "heads up we're about to jibe (boink)"

Man overboard!

This could be a pretty interesting topic I think also you have the technical terms for the sides of the boats that everyone apart from myself seem to know in English
