I don't know what time today's UI lesson came out finally; I only know that when I looked at 9:58 it was there.

November 3, 2009 at 1:39 AMHi, are lessons being released now later than they used to be (9 AM in SH)? Or is this some problem on my end? I've noticed this yesterday, and again today. Clicking on the Lessons tab shows the latest lesson at this time (9:35 AM SH) is still the Ele Picking Up a Friend at the Airport--yesterday's.

October 30, 2009 at 8:45 AMbrianhz, another "change" is 换 huàn. You want to change dollars to RMB (换钱 huànqián), you want to change clothes before you go out (换衣服 huàn yīfu), you need to change trains at XX station to get to your destination (换车 huànchē)--those are all 换.

October 29, 2009 at 11:02 AMI agree Changye, 生词 isn't new word in the sense of newly coined or newly to common usage; it's just one you did not know.
I love the use of 生 in this sense (unfamiliar to one), like 不认生 bùrènshēng, to not be shy around strangers (lit. not acknowledge they are strangers).
For 生词 I think we just say "new vocab".

I think your much-too-kind compliment could be written like this (though I've had to change it some):
我不仅觉得你造的英文例句非常好，还看你写的中文句子挺有意思；
总之，你写的一切我都很喜欢读。
Oops, seems I've changed it so that you're heaping even higher compliments now, haha. Not deliberately though!
And of course my sentence is no model.
