Hiya

You need to write your answers for the exercises in Chinese script, not pinyin. There's a guide here:

http://chinesepod.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=49&nav=0,7

If you just want to display tones on your pinyin words in a comments box, put the appropriate number after the word, then press the "Convert to Tone Marks" box at the bottom of the text box. For example duo1 becomes duō, or zui3 becomes zuǐ

Perhaps they meant in Chinese?

e.g. 你无聊了 - you are bored

你无聊了 - you are boring

I think from another lesson though, the answer was "context", right?

This is a really great Qing Wen. I saw the 多。。。了 construction in an expansion sentence, searched for it and tada! Very happy.

Oh, just noticed there's an unanswered question from AussieNick earlier in the month above my post here though - perhaps this might bump the post so that question can get answered.

There's only been 9! Seems a bit early for anyone to be deciding a permanent format :)

Also, just wanted to say thanks to John for sharing his personal experience of his own Chinese wedding. That's very generous of him, so much appreciated.

It could be a regularly updated thing, since any mention of tv programs would get dated quite fast...
