I was trying to apply 者 to my job, but I've given up. I don't think you can be a project- er. (I'm a project manager). 项目者 - that's wrong I guess. 项目经理 is the closest I could imagine?

Project manager working in community healthcare... uh.. 社区医院 项目经理?

ok, I'm going to go and get a simpler job title.

You've got to rate Brazil though. After their shocking form against N Korea, they've really shaped up. I'd definitely tip them for the cup.

I think it's really added a level of excitement to it all, because literally anything can happen. France going out in the first round is completely unthinkable. The excitement is palpable! Wouldn't it be great if an unseeded team won? :)

We've used all our World Cup mojo in the News and Features thread. :-)

The France/ South Africa game yesterday was just ridiculous. ~drama~ One sending off, S Africa just needed one more goal to qualify. Really heartbreaking.

It just seems like all the major nations (bar brazil) are really crumbling under the pressure, which is making it all a lot more interesting. You can feel the tension in the air in England today as we prepare for another ridiculously important game. (which I won't be able to watch :-( ).

他 and 她 are just the male and female version of tā - pronounced the same.

I think the sentence reordering is just to cement the dialogue in your head. I find often I remember a word because I remember the dialogue I've heard it in.
